The SEE -THRU HOUSE™ has come a long way since its debut at the Atlanta Home Show. The SEE-THRU HOUSE™ gears up for the next show March 19, 2010, and its program has grown in size and is now a regularly featured show exhibit and sponsor of the Atlanta Home Show.
“In the beginning, this was a cutaway of a home designed to show the components of how a house works from the inside out including structural integration,” explains Stan A. Garnet who developed the concept through his company’s We Teach House™ Institute, dedicated to raising the educational standards in the inspection, real estate, and building industries.
“Now, in addition to illustrating the right way a home should be built, visitors at the SEE -THRU HOUSE™ can also see cutting-edge products and services,” Garnet notes. What started out as an educational exhibit has expanded as a platform for state-of-the-art consumer products and services as well as an introduction to many service providers capable of looking after the home owners building and service needs.
The SEE -THRU HOUSE™ has also spawned a new referral resource, Consult-A-Pro™ (www.ConsultAHomePro.com) which is an online directory of the “best of the best” in Atlanta trades. “We launched the Consult-A-Home-Pro™ program at the last SEE -THRU HOUSE™,” says Garnet. “This is a natural progression so we can better serve our metro Atlanta community.” Visitors at the exhibit have an opportunity to walk through the open frame house, and talk to SEE-THRU HOUSE™ members. “All of the members of the SEE-THRU HOUSE™ can be contacted year-round through ConsultAHomePro.com™,” points out Garnet.
Got house? Get answers! at round-the-clock presentations offered on a variety of subjects at the SEE-THRU HOUSE™ booth throughout the three-day show. This year, We Teach House™ Institute will also present on the main Stage. The topic will be How to protect your home against moisture Intrusion. To accommodate the expansion of the SEE-THRU HOUSE™ program, they have relocated to a larger booth. “We’re branding our position, too,” notes Garnet. “Visitors will always be able to find the SEE -THRU HOUSE™ next to the main stage.”
“Whether people are do-it-yourselfers or just wanted to understand how their homes operate, they came to the SEE-THRU HOUSE™,” says Garnet. “Where else could they consult a hme pro for free?” he muses.
